If people weren't able to transfer aircraft after they purchase them, there would be a market for people to ferry aircraft.
Would it be a good or bad idea to remove the ability to have the system transfer aircraft?

It's up to the owner and I think it should stay that way. Right now, CBFS (for example) has pilots fly aircraft from far-off locations back to the UK.
There is a future feature to be included in the Client to allow fuel stops so it would make a ferry flight much easier to do by simply creating a training flight from the origin to the destination and then letting someone fly it.
