What failures could we expect to see?

I'd consider that more "entertainment" than failure.

Ihad some fairly nasty ones that came to mind:

Brake failure

Single tank fuel leak.

cabin depressurization

Really bad ->>> Autopilot failure...

Rudder failure

Electronics failure (all MFDS go Bzzzt)

etc.

Hydraulics failure?

Wing fall off due to stress (only when aircraft is at like 20% or less)

Wing falling off? You couldnt simulate that in FS could you? That would be altering aircraft textures. Could the client do that?

Agreed, but would be funny. Its not a failure, but how about something that stops the ILS from working, that would test the pilots skill

Personnally I would like failure to be almost non-existant through the 97%-100% range of A/C status.

And I still think that having a ground check option, maybe worth .1% of the planes value, before starting, would be a good idea.

SO you fuel your plane with the client, and then you get another page that says, do you want a ground check? Expense will be deducted from flight income. And so if they click yes, it will tell them if any failures will occur on the flight, if they click no, it wil remain a mystery. If they find a failure using the system, another dialog pops up, asking for another .1% of the aircrafts value to repair the problem. Thus the failure will not occur on that flight (but you've payed possibly 1~2 million of flight income preventing it)
