The more I think about it, the seats will probably have to be locked to the fleet they came from. I am going to have to make a page for transferring seats between warehouses/centers at an airport and that can also transfer between fleets. But before you ask I am not planning on allowing a way to transfer or fly them between airports, other than having them installed on an airplane, although nothing to prevent that happening in the future.

Yup, a seat changing facility would have no reason to send those seats elsewhere and as service centers/warehouses are also fleet based, it makes logical sense to keep seats fleet based. Example: what would a VA's bush fleet need with airline seats? They wouldn't, so waste of time to make seating "airline global".

Looking ahead, however, operators can always transfer an aircraft to the fleet with the seats, get them changed out as desired and then transfer the aircraft back to it's primary fleet.
