Seat configuration idea

Hi All,
Based on something somebody asked in a support ticket I had an idea.
Right now if someone wants o limit the amount payload on an aircraft they can set on the seat configuration the number of seats and a cargo limit, the combination of those limits the total payload.
What if we were to add a 'maximum payload' value to the seat configuration. So if somebody knew the variant of the aircraft they are using had a different MZFW than what we had in the database then they could just set the value there.
Would that make things simpler?
