Fine A Pilot

Post by bbugday » Sat May 28, 2022 10:12 am

Hi,
There is the option to tip the pilot but why not an option to fine a pilot when they break a rule?
This just came to my mind now as one of our pilots flew with an aircraft to a certain airport and did not fly the return leg. The aircraft has been sitting there for 1 month and being charged parking fee.
I wanted to fine that pilot for the extra parking fees we have been paying :D

The idea has come up before and I have always resisted it. The main reason is that in the real world airlines are corporations, not governments. A corporation can not just take money from others, including there employees.

You can always tell the pilot if they do not donate back to the airline the amount you want your going to kick them from the VA.

many corporations have their disiplinary councils which, if decided on, they do fine their staff for misconduct or breaking rules.

Might I suggest docking their pay?
