About light penalties

Post by FrancoisH » Fri Dec 18, 2009 1:10 am

Hello there,

Just a remark about light retracted below/above FL100

If I do agree that you may put a penalty for taking off landing lights below FL100, you must remember some aircraft have landing lights into the landing gear and when you rectract it, it cut out landing light from the FS side.

I must add that for the "above" FL100 penalty, it is definately related to company procedures. Air France in example will keep lights on if you still into the clouds until you leave them. I find then this penalty quite unfair and even unrealistic.

Kind regards.
