Sophos vs Norton

Ok, a virus called hldrrr.exe (or something like that) and scores of others had deleted my Sophos Antivirus software. After finding that out, I had to stay all night up to delete all the infected files, manually.

Sophos came with the computer, but now that it's gone, I want a new one.

So, my question is, which one is better; Sophos Antivirus or Norton Antivirus 2008.

One thing you should NOT take into factor is the cost. I know Sophos costs like 200 dollars while Norton costs like 80. It doesnt matter because I have both on cd (iso, hacked, dont ask me how).

Avast

I use the freeware version and have never had a problem. You can also upgrade for a fee to the pro version.

Ok got it Avast, but everytime I install it and start the program, it says 'searching for ashAvast.exe...' Anyone know what might be causing this problem?
