how calculate the pilot ranking "promotions"?

Hi everyone.
We would like to know how flynet calculate the pilot ranking promotions, for the following ranks:
Second Flight Officer
First Flight Officer
Captain
Flight Captain
Senior Captain
Senior Flight Captain
Since we need to explain to our roster how work this system.

Actually its the sum of your flight ratings.

Again you add up the flight ratings for your pilot, so if they had five flights at 100%, 95%, 90%, 95% and 100% the total would be 480.
0-999 = Second Flight Officer
1000-2499 = First Flight Officer
2500-4999 = Captain
5000-9999 = Flight Captain
10000-49999 = Senior Captain
50000+ = Senior Flight Captain

Now I understand how works the pilot ranking promotion.
... and one more question... how works the "awards" for pilots?

I believe the 'award' is discontinued. But I am not sure.
