Seriously annoying bug inside client

Post by Miikoyan » Sun Feb 24, 2008 11:44 pm

For the past fifty tries when i choose detailed fueling method, I kept getting this msg:

Debug Error!

Program:....

Module:...nd Settings\Mike Miikoyan\My Documents\FlyNET_069b\flynet.exe

File:

Run-Time Check Failure #3 - The variable 'tper' is being used without being initialized.

(Press retry to debug the application)

When I press retry, the client crashes. When I press 'ignore', I receive no option to put fuel in (all spaces are '0')

Now you might be saying, no biggie, use compare fuel method!

There is nothing to install; you do not install the Client program as you do any other program. It is just a file you place somewhere on your Hard Drive.

Miikoyan; it might be an idea to email Konny or one of the other mods with this one.

All operational issues need to go through Konny or Joe. We (the DB Admins) can't see inside the program and figure out what's going on.

Hi Miikoyan

I know this is not the reply you probably want to hear, but what happens if you choose the 'normal' refuelling method aka "the way it's always been" (can't remember the name of the method).

Everytime I put some number in it (I tried 0, I tried 1, I tried 2000, I tried the amount of fuel already loaded, I tried 100000) but it says 'Too much fuel! ???????? (dunno what it says after).

Well, this bug happens if the client can't find any fuel tanks. I think we had this in the past and the reason was that the flightsim wasn't in "ready to flight" state. So please be sure that you're standing at the airport with the fs not being paused.
Maybe it also depends on the aircraft you're using?

Ok...Never thought of pausing...
For Boeing 74D, I use POSKY v3 model, which I have used flawlessly for SJA.
