Pilot information in Forum

Post by MMattyK » Sat Jan 19, 2008 7:34 pm

This was odd :?
I have just entered a message in our arline forum, and found that my rank had been changed from senior captain to second flight officer, and my signature had also changed, yet I'm showing what I the correct information in the main game, apart from the system had changed my VA ID number. Changing it back to my preference seemed to have no effect.
The signature in the forum seems to have gone back to the old server as you can see, yet my signature in the current game is correct.
Any ideas as to the cause and if it can be rectified?

How Bizarre :?

It appears that evertyhing has returned to normal... maybe reyturning the VA ID took time to take effect or something, but it was certainly as described in the initial post earlier :?:

Possible Cause...

Post by MMattyK » Tue Jan 22, 2008 9:09 pm

I discovered that someone else in our airline changed my VA ID which may have been the root cause of the originally reported problem, but IF this was the case, then there may be problems ahead with VA ID renumbering...

Knowing the code the way I do, va renumbering is impossible.

Explanation

Post by MMattyK » Wed Jan 23, 2008 8:42 am

Hiya Joe,
Mabe I didn't explain properly, it was my VA pilot ID within the airline that changed from BJA109 to BJA103, which appeared to cause the initial reported issue. Returning my pilot ID to BJA109 seemed to cure the issue :)
