Advertisement problem

I'm trying to place an advertisement but I just keep getting a message saying "There was a problem" and my ad won't work. I've filled in the blanks properly, made sure it was the correct size visually and file size.

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not sure what issue the money issue is. If you mean "do I have enough money?". Then yes there is plenty to cover the cost.

I got exactly the same problem... plenty of cash to cover the ad, but I get the weird, vague "There was a problem" message.

does it meet the size requirement?

I had the same problem initially, so I found an existing ad the size I wanted, copied it into my paint program, then pasted my ad into the space before saving it.

Then I uploaded the ad successfully.

If that doesn't work, let me know.

As stated yes it does.

I'll try a different size Mike and see what happens.

Weird stuff here Mike. I went and changed the size by 1 pixel on the height and it works. Not sure why it wouldn't work before as everything was well within the rules and the only change now is one pixel narrower. LOL Anyways it worked. :)

Hm, the only way the "sorry, there was a problem" message shows up is if the size of the image file is above 50000bytes ;-). I just added a "file too large" message for this case.

I was close on the size Konny but not over. I think it's 48k. But maybe the 1 pixel change was enough to get it a little smaller. But thanks for the response and looking into it :)

Mine is as big as other ads in there already. I right clicked on an ad of a size I liked, checked the dimensions and made one the same size. Mine was 38 kb.

Well, the 50kb limit is not really 50kb ;-). Like all the harddisk manufacturers do I calculate with 50000byte which is actually 48,8kb ;-)
