Someone may want to consider going through the Pilots roster and getting rid of the spammers that seem to have registered:

Better yet - Why not hide pilots who have not flown a flight and are not part of an airline on the list?

Some type of verification system wouldn't be a bad idea, whether it's email or visual.

how bout a code generated in an image that you have to manually type in what you see in the image.

We are supposed to provide valid email addresses, sending a code to that address when you register or change your email address would be a good idea. New accounts that have not verified can't join or start airlines and are removed after a resonable period of time.
