Client 6.2b still buggy and some questions

Post by Quantum » Thu Nov 30, 2006 1:09 am

Hi

* Aircraft % status and v$value are not moving from current values which means we will never have to pay for maintenance again.

* Aircraft which had values reduced to v$0 - what happens to them now? Will they go back to normal when maintained? See point above.

* Do we have to buy license for Winrar to unpack new Client versions from now on, or can FlyNET revert to using the zip program that has been used
in the past that works without having to get Winrar.

* Would it be better for 6.3b be a roll back to a copy of 6.0b until things can get sorted properly?

Good this beta testing eh?

Might want to try ExtractAll, it's free. It extracts ZIPs, RARs, and other formats.

Kurt & Konny, would suggest that maybe we stick with ZIPs though. Everyone with Windows XP has an inbuilt ZIP extractor and most everyone else has WinZip.

I am having some interesting problem here.
During my flight the client closed itself. I re launched it and clicked on fly booked flight and it says "No Booked Flight Found! Connection to database unstable? Booking expired?"
At website it says I still have the flight booked.

I am inclined to agree with John, can we roll back to 6.0 until we can work out the bugs with 6.2?
