X-Plane and XPUIPC

Post by joefremont » Sun Dec 24, 2017 6:18 pm

Hi Flyers.

Currently there two ways to fly using FSA and X-Plane. First use the plugin client or the normal external client via XPUIPC.

Some pilots have reported problems using the plugin client so we are recommending that you use the XPUIPC and the normal client.

The fine people at https://german-xflight.de have been maintaining XPUIPC and have given us permission to re-distribute it. I have some some slight repackaging of it and you can download it from this link.

https://www.fsairlines.net/downloads/XPUIPC.2.0.5.9.zip

To remove the old FSA plugin open \X-Plane 11\Resources\plugins folder and delete anything FSA related.

Happy Flying.

I have made available a new version of XPUIPC from german-xflight.de , the new version is 2.0.5.9 and I have updated the link above. I have not found any change logs after 2.0.4.8 but those logs can be found here:

https://german-xflight.de/forum/resources/xpuipc.3/

The previous version is still available to download at:

https://www.fsairlines.net/downloads/XPUIPC.2.0.4.8.zip

How is the plugin client now for X-Plane, is it working and stable?

right now the x-plane plugin is definitely un-stable. Since the standalone client with XPUIPC is working well that's our recommended method.

Right now website updates have me fully occupied and I am not certain if Konny is making any progress with the Mac Client (he is pretty busy with family and work).

If anyone knows someone who is good with X-Plane plugins let me know.

Is the plugin compatible with Windows? Also do you have a link so I can download it and test it?

The windows plugin is not stable and I have withdrawn it from use.

OK, happy to test if ever required, noticed there was some testing done quite some time ago.

Hello friends:

We have a new pilot on the airline who uses the Xplane 11, but when the client connects immediately the simulator pauses. If he disable the client, the simulator continues to run normally. That could be happening? There is some conflict between the client and the XPUIPC, how to solve it. This may have happened to other Xplane 11 users?

How can we help you solve the problem?

Thanks you,
