Website Update

Post by joefremont » Sun Jan 03, 2016 6:30 pm

Hi FSA Community!

I am about to deploy some new code for the website that will re-organize the way the code is structured so to make it easier for us to work on it. You should not see much difference in the way the site operates but if you see any problems please report it either on this forum or as a support ticket on the site.

One of the cron jobs that releases aircraft from maintenance and transfers was stopped. I restarted it and the releasing of aircraft should be back to normal. Any more problems, continue to post support tickets.

i fixed a bug in the edit routes page that was resetting the days of week if you did not update them and added recent arrivals and departures to the airport info page.

I will be out of town for a few days so don't expect your admin requests to be answered till next week.

Happy Flying!

I just updated the site again. Most of the changes are behind the scene in anticipation of upgrading to the new version of php that you will not notice, unless I broke something in the process. But I did do a couple upgrades to the message system, the lookup works again and you can now see messages you sent as well as those you received. If you delete a message it is still shown in the other person's message box until both sides delete it, then it's physically deleted from the database.
