And there really is a minus in front of your number ? I thought this shouldn't be possible. Every negative result should end in 0fpm

Do you have your speakers on? I am only joking. I agree it looks like the Client hesitates to record your touchdown calculating incorectly your vertical speed. There is no way you have actually landed at 1000fpm. Your aircraft would have crashed.

I know it's been awhile but how about a 20fpm in a LF45... the flaw? I landed about 500 ft short of the runway.... lol

Man, all those 18s... tsk.

3 ft/s, hand flown the entire approach, right on the perfect marker (in the piano keys set, the broad ones), heavy, in a Antonov 124.

I'll be signing autographs at PHNL until my departure.

2 ft/s, on the numbers at Jersey, HS.748. Handflown from Top of Descent, visual approach (thus why I can land on the numbers. :) )

Secret? Hit the numbers (speed numbers that is). If you can make sure that you hit all of your approach speeds at the right times and fly and nice stabilized approach, landings will always be smooth and easy. I was landing in a thunderstorm with 10+ knot gusts and 25 knot constant winds, so it wasn't a pretty approach, but making sure I was on my approach speeds meant that I didn't have a problem with the flare and putting it down on the numbers so I could stop at the right taxiway. :)

Oh yeah, having one of those 10 knot gusts right at touchdown also helps soften the landing immensely... :)
