Today's updates, here we go
1. Changed the whole rank-system. Please don't kill me if there are some bugs, I had to change half of the scripts and maybe I forgot to test some sites . Anyway, you can now set up your own ranks and don't have to stick to "Pilot, Flight Dir, Manager, CEO" anymore. CEOs find the new functions on the edit-va page. There are seven rights you can set individually for each rank: Setting va options, handling pilots, handling aircrafts, managing the fleet, handling flights, managing partnerships and handling advertisements.
2. All the stuff regarding your airline membership (Quit VA, Create VA, Apply to VA) as well as the functions for CEOs (Assign Rank, Kick from VA) have been moved to the profile page.
3. This one might not be so interesting for you as you all are already registered on FlyNET, but new user can now log in using a guest-account and have a look around the site.
That's it for now...please tell me about bugs

Aiport semi bug ?
Probably not a bug but
Login
Click Flightplan
Flight plan page open cw 2 drop downs [airports] and [aircraft]
choose an Airport from the drop down and click select on RHS
The output page only shows Flights FROM the Airport nothing TO the airport.
So if you removing or moving a Hub or destination, you would miss half your flights.
Cheers now

The functions you can choose are grouped together under different headings and you choose which functions each rank is able to use. You can also add extra ranks if need be and edit what you call each rank. If you go to the edit rank page all is clear.ALZ101 wrote:Perfect.
One thing, please: What are the functions for each rank now?
Thanks.

Hello,
So I attempted to check out the new rank system for my VA (GVA- Global Airlines) and by accident I assigned myself the the manager rank (I'm CEO) and now I don't have any way of assigning the CEO rank back to myself. This leaves me unable to do any administrative task as the Manager Rank was not assigned any priviledges before I did it. Is it possible that an administrator can re-assign the CEO rank to my account (gehatz - gehatz@gmail.com)?
Thanks

I played around with the Google Maps API the last days, you can see the results at the flight monitor/flightplan page. I really like the new maps, they might not be as fast as the old one but you can look around easily (just drag the map with the mouse; double-left/right-click for Zoom in/out) and see some info if you click on a flightnumber. I could also switch it to a satellite-style view, but I think it's better like this.

i dont see any of the lines for the flights...
and also I dont know if this is the place, sort of should be...
anyways... with the maps could the feature be added to look at a region like how the flight monitor is. So if i pick a a/c, and they do both domestic and international flights, could we pick the regional of the world under the map... exactly how the flight monitor is?

Just a quick note - The new map is marvellous - everything running great here - including flt number and proposed route - now if you could just get it to
do a mouse over data box with altitude/airspeed etc on it - (Just like the one I use here at work) JUST KIDDING honest
Thanks and keep up the great work
