Some news again. Those who have already flown their aircrafts under real world circumstances won't be affected by this, but anyone who is flying some routes with aircrafts which actually aren't able to fly that far won't be able to do that anymore. The range is checked at three points of the website, when you book a flight, when you insert a route, and when you edit a route.
The necessary data updates in the aircraft database will be done by the DB Admins soon.

I think we'll also need another feature on the flightplan page: Range Checker, so it lists how far apart airports are, just so people know if they can run a route or not, before actually trying (and failing) to insert it.
Edit: I suspect this chane will also drive the market for some underused aircraft up, such as the A335, A343, 777ER, 777LR...
