Post by joefremont » Wed Jun 01, 2022 6:17 pm

I noticed that in the month of May 2022, MS Flight simulator 2020 now accounts for the majority of all flights flown on FSA. The breakdown for may was

FS2022 51.06%
FSX 11.91%
P3D (all version) 13.98%
X-Plane 19.25%

FS2022 34.29%
FSX 15.11%
P3D (all version) 21.32%
X-Plane 23.42%

Interesting statistics, thanks Joe. I guess the regular updates and new open approach haven't done Microsoft any harm. I'm using MSFS for most flights now that there are more airliners available.

Alan I agree, MS keeps updating it and more aircraft are coming available so its becoming a better platform.

P3D has taken the biggest hit, down about 35% on our platform, I have seen a lot of developers abandon P3D development, AH has even made all there P3D and FSX aircraft freeware as they focus on MSFS. FSX is down about 21% and even X-Plane is down 18%.
