747-LCF

Just wanted to share some information that was given to me recently about the 747-LCF, the aircraft boeing uses to transport 787 parts (wings and fuselage seconds), apparently recently Boeing donated the use of 3 of the DreamLifters to help transport medical supplies and one pilot was again asking for us to allow its use. Here is the link to a video that was included.

Warning, the video is 10 minute long. I usually don't watch those 10 minute plus videos that are shared as I usually don't have the time.
The one interesting take away from the video, other than that boeing was doing this at all, was that because these aircraft were designed for very large aircraft parts rather than general cargo, for these missions it can carry only 63,000 pounds of cargo, or 28600 kg rather than the 122944 kg a 747-400F can normally carry or the 113400 kg the LCF can carry when its carrying those big parts.
I have thought that these unique cargo aircraft like Beluga, Super Guppy and LCF if we were to allow it, should only be able to carry 20,000 kg (or larger) packages and nothing else as while they are good at carrying large items they are not good for general cargo.
