New pilots flights

Post by Knight » Sun Feb 23, 2020 5:09 pm

Hi
I have a new pilot that completed his first 2 flights today. Both flights were flagged for review. Can someone just check the reason, I don't want us to do something wrong and want to correct his setup if need be. Thank you
Pilot: Terry Ward
VA Id: KAA102
Flight numbers: KSC0007 YSSY-YPAD; KSC0008 YPAD-YSSY
Date: 23 feb 20 both

I just looked at those and cleared them. Based on the range and fuel capacity in the database the system thought the flights used too little fuel. But on investigation it looks like the entry we had for the ATR-72-500-F had the wrong entry for range. This was probably caused by the fact that ATR (and many other AC makers) list the max range as the range with max payload, rather than the range with max fuel. I updated the database with the same range as we had with the other -500's and then the numbers fell into line and I cleared both flights without modification.
