Its not hours, its ratings, one flight at 100% is worth 1 point, one flight at 90% is worth 0.9 points etc.

0-10 second flight officer,
10-25 first flight officer
25-50 Captain
50-100 Flight Captain
100-500 Senior Captain
500+ Senior Flight Captain.

Hey guys. I felt lonely, so I whipped up some graphics for the Pilot Ranks. I think I made one too many, but hey - just leaves you room for an extra secret rank, eh?

Dang, now I want a set of these epaulettes for real, with the wings!

looks good mate, I'm sure there would be a manufacturer out there somewhere that could stamp out a template and get some made up for reals :)
Great to have people with the imagination and know how to make up interesting features for something we all love :)

I have a question about this, the points I see are correct, I have always known them from the beginning, but I have doubts about their mathematics.

How can this be possible?

Less than 25 points and is Captain

Less than 10 points and is FFO

Hello Guys

Completely understand the above quote, but
I have a Pilot in my VA with a point rating of 15.85 yet the "system", for lack of a better word ;) shows him as a Captain..
If the system promotes the Pilot should I do that same ??

Excuse my stupidity here but how does this happen ??

Regards

OK, I did some digging into the code and I have an update.

The calculation for rank and rating it uses the combined ratings for all flights that are not marked as cheat. But when it calculates the rank it includes training flights while the rating excludes them.

Not sure why we do that.
