Using FS Real Time or FSUIPC (registered) Time Sync

Post by Benedettini » Sun Sep 22, 2013 12:30 pm

We are in year 2013 now, and I would like to ask whether its still not allowed to use time sync program for sake of more realism; especially when you are flying ARAIG (like in VATSIM and IVAO). I sometimes get time-lag between real and FS, and it can sometimes be confusing.

My bud had once used it, and had duration as e.g : 0:23 (1.4 hr) where actually he had flown for 1:23 . For sake of pilot-hours it seemed OK, but wanted to ask you to make sure.

Officially, we do not support it and there may be issues with it. However, I personally know that there are people the use it and have no issues. Others do and I end up reviewing a lot of their flights because they are flagged. So use is at your own risk.
