Keep Your Fleet Maintained!

Post by VegasTim » Thu Dec 22, 2011 8:38 am

Hi Everyone,

Just a quick reminder to keep your fleet maintained by performing those needed services at regular intervals. If you don't, Dr. Evil living deep inside the FSA castle will make bad things happen to your planes inflight ..... things like gear that won't come down, even when hitting the manual emergency release. Other nasty items like engines that just quit with no notice, brakes that fail after the first stab on a slick runway, batteries that overheat ..... you get the point. So do your airline right and keep your fleet top notch!

For those that don't know about the service/system failure factor, go to Fleets, select a plane and click on the little wrench.....that will get you on on the right path to keeping a well maintained aircraft.

Keep an eye on those aircraft that have sustained hard landings (greater than 500 fpm descent at touchdown). Hard landings will shorten the service intervals drastically!
