Hi guys,
I fky for Royal Skies VA and i'm starting my cargo routes from LPPR with destinations to GVAC , FPST in Atlantic Ocean.
The issue here is the low income of this flights.
The flight from LPPr to GVAC as an income of 133.458$
I use a A300B4 for this destinations.
Any ideia to make this routes more profitable?
Thanks Stay well

Re: Low Income Cargo Fleet
IIRC cargo income starts to drop off at distances above 1000 miles so it's best to break up your routes into smaller sectors if possible. When we had a pure cargo division we ran sectors of around 5-800 miles with MD11s, A310s and 767Fs quite successfully.
You can make profits on longer flights, but that depends on the aircraft. The B747-200F seems to be the top long distance cargo hauler, better than the B747-400F in our experience.
Hope that helps

Re: Low Income Cargo Fleet
Heelo Tony,
Thank you for the tip.
I'll make a test with the flight LPPR to GVAC in 2 legs. The 2 flights will have leess than 800 nm.
Let's see the difference.
Thanks
