How to use PMDG 7478i with FSAirlines...

Hi All,

Can someone please tell me how use my PMDG 747.8i with FSAirlines please?
I can't figure out how to Fuel up in the correct way with this particular aircarft - every other plane i'm ok with!

You can't use the 747-8 at all on FSAirlines, none have been delivered to customers yet.

Indeed, I'd like to know how you get past the aircraft config issues since 747-8 is not the same as 747-400 (or any other variant currently in the database). If you modified the 747-8 CFG to be able to fly it in FSAirlines, there's strike #1 and you need to reverse it and let us know via support ticket or e-mail any flights you might have completed using this model so we can figure out what happened because you shouldn't be able to fly a 747-8 and the client get past the opening screen.

the pmdg 748-8 is not a true -8. its just the visual model of the -8 but it uses the -400's fde and all other files so it is useless when the -8 is available for here because of this...

Hey All,

On FSAirlines i know that we don't have 8i's as of yet but apparently you can use your PMDG on there and it will come under 747.400. But every time i try and use it, i have issue with the fuel settings as FSAirlines cannot change the PMDG fuel module.

There has to be some way around it!?!?

A) You shouldn't be using the 747-8I with FSA. That's against the rules as I recall.
B) See the thread in Tips and Tricks about refueling for PMDG.

No, there is no way around it until PMDG releases a true 747-8 flight file and the 747-8 becomes available for use here. Otherwise, you are cheating.
