FSX Shared Cockpit

Post by bcn250 » Thu Nov 05, 2009 8:44 am

Hello,

Im just looking to see if anybody would be interested in a Shared Cockpit feature flight on FSX platform.

A PIC & CoPilot/ Navigator crew would be neat to do! Have had fun in the past doing so .

Please remember that if you are using FSAirlines only the PIC can have his client active. Any other "crew members" must not use it. If they do, the client will detect that they are flying together and both flights will be removed.

Thanks for the heads up! Is there anyway to split the time logged between both pilots ?

Why? It's an excellent training tool.

It might be good for training and sutch, but the PIC(pilot in command) must be in control at all times. as he/she is the PIC, normaly on a Real airlines flight, only a fully trained pilot may operate the aircraft, due to the libility, as if the trannie is un aware of how to do the function correct it can result in a loss of lives, and and aircraft.

or FSairlines client cant handel it.

not exactly the reason why here...

here you cant share cockpits and both have the client running because its only one flight being flown in the sim. so if you both were running the client then your saying that both of you are flying a different plane on the same route when in reality your both flying the same plane in the sim. Now you can have a group flight where all of you are flying the same route together but each of you have to be in your own plane flying it the whole time.

There was talk about having a feature in the client so that it would split the pilot profits in half so both pilots could earn money and get credit for the flight, but i dont know what the status of that is. Konny or Chris could answer that.
