A/C registrations

Hi there,

Two questions from novice re. registration (tail) numbers.
Are they unique?
Is there any way to search/look up certain number? I probably have answer to this one as I did search before post, and from what I have read, it appears the answer is negative.

Yes they are unique.
I don't think you can search, but if you try to assign a tail number which is already existing then the system will not allow it.
