Hi,

If you need to divert due to bad weather, low fuel or a technical fault with your aircraft, using the 'Divert' button will set the client to enable you land at any airport without the 'landed at wrong airport' penalty. Please note you still need to press the 'End Flight' button after landing and that each sector will be reported seperately. Your flight will remain as a booked flight enabling you to continue your flight to your original destination when you are ready. After diverting, you and the aircraft will still show as booked status and still at original departure airport. Just continue your flight from your diversion airfield when you can. Flights will show a negative income until the last flight that gets you your original destination as that is when the revenues are applied - payment on delivery  . If you had a restricted load on departure, that load remains restricted for subsequent sectors prohibiting you from adding additional passengers or cargo.

If you divert for any reason without pressing the 'Divert' button the client will penalise you for landing at the wrong airport and the flight booking is closed. You won't get any revenues for landing at a wrong airport.

Once you land at the diverted airport. Finish the flight as normal. The start a new flight and refuel for the flight to the original destination.

Hi,

No, there is no need to file a new flightplan. The client will allow you to depart from the diversion airfield without filing a new plan as your booking has not been completed. When you launch the client for the next sector it will show the original routing although the client 'knows' where you are continueing from.
