FSX Boeing 737 Engine Start Up

Post by AdmiralRolfe » Wed May 20, 2009 1:14 am

Like most people, I typically use CTRL+E to auto start both engines and I'm on my way to flying. However, it is not very realistic.

Any one know the correct engine start procedure to start up a FSX Boeing 737? I've gotten the engines to go at 4% N1, but no further than that.

Can someone give me a highly detailed procedure on starting them properly? I'm not very good at following instructions, so the more specific, the better.

well i was fooling around... but it seems all you have to do is bring up the throttle panel, and click the 2 starter buttons up (under the throttles) and they will automatically start.

Linking isn't very effective when I'm on a mobile device that can't download anything except PDFs, DOCs, and email. Thanks for the guide. I managed to start the engines, but the PDF keeps on displaying a start valve open switch. Any ideas on how to fix this?
