Changing or deleting aircraft image.

I'm starting to do some repaints for the aircraft in my Airline. (check us out if you want to fly for a cool airline!!

)
I can't seem to delete or upload images on the aircraft info page.

Uploading an image seems to go through but I never see a change.
Deleting an image brings up a new page that is titled "Delete aircraft image" but nothing is listed below it.

Am I missing something?

Not sure which repaints you have attempted to upload but if you try to delete the standard image for an aircraft, it won't allow you. As to the uploads, sometimes it takes time to reset the cache server side so it could take up to a day to reload the image. Hopefully that will help you.

Ok, I tried uploading this weekend and it's not showing. However, I did try and delete a few times so maybe that messed things up a bit. I'll try again.

Ok, I figured it out. I can change the images on all the aircraft except one. It seems to have some sort of problem.

Which aircraft are you having an issue with?

It's the Boeing 763 that I have. It's strange because it comes up with a large blank space on top before you even get to see the picture or the aircraft info.

That would be because the aircraft picture you are using is bigger than 400x200 but is under 40kb so the system allows it.

Click delete, allow it to revert to the default, wait a day or so, reupload, wait another day or so for the system to change it to the new image correctly.

I've tried. It won't let me delete the current image so I can replace it with the image I want. Can an admin help with this?

That's odd. when I replace an aircraft image, it's there almost instantly. Try this

go to the info page of the aircraft you want.

delete aircraft image

upload your new image SELECTING SHOW FOR THIS AIRCRAFT ONLY

then go back to your airplane info page and refresh your browser.

Hi,

We have removed the offending image for you so you should be able to upload a fresh one. PLEASE ensure you adhere to the requirements for the maximum dimensions of the image as well as the file size.

I've been able to use the same image on other aircraft as a test which is how I came to believe there was an issue with this particular plane. I'll try it now and see what happens.
