Insignia and Pilot-Rankings

Post by NAI001 » Wed Nov 12, 2008 1:45 pm

Hi Admin,

I´m wondering if it´s possible to list the pilot-rankings and the insignia for each rank?

Thank you very much!

The pilot ratings are defined by the CEO of the VA. You can edit those settings from within the "Edit VA Settings" dialogue linked from the VA's Overview Page.

Are you sure? I mean, I just can edit the ratings like CEO, Flt Dir....

When you take a look on the pilotroster page, you can see a various of different insignias. Can you see them?

So the question is, what are the conditions for the single insignias the pilots receive? (Flighthours, Flights....)

Hope you know the answer.

Thank you very much!!!

Do you mean the pilot rating ... like captain, senior captain etc?

I believe it is based on number of flights but I cannot remember what each level is.

The VA Rank is a different thing, it is allocated by the CEO of the VA for different jobs / positions within the VA.

I was hoping one of the admins would come up with the definitive answer.

From memory the first levels are 15, 30 and 60 flights. That takes you up to captain .. I don't know what the requirements are after that.

Cheers

sorry for the delay, thought it was easy to look up the pilot-ratings, but the forums search-function seems to be crap, you hardly get any results ;).

So have a look here:

Thanks for that... However, could you explain this (from that post):

< 100 points : Flight Captain
< 500 points : Senior Captain
> 500 points : Senior Flight Captain

At what point does Flight Captain metamorphose into a Senior Captain? I suspect it's 150 but it would be nice to have confirmation.

Cheers

< 100 points : Flight Captain
< 500 points : Senior Captain
> 500 points : Senior Flight Captain
That means that below 100 points your rank is Flight Captain, from 100 - 499 your rank is Senior Caption and with more than 499 points you're Senior Flight Captain
