flynet aviation co. or what ever it is sells planes, they dont lease or nothing... but i was looking for a 717 and it said there was 42 of them from them... and the same for other types, but when i look on the traders page there is nothing...
so what im asking/thinking is... when someone orders a plane, does it come up as in flynet account? if so, could it be changed so that a private sales column gets added to the aircraft type page, so you can tell if the planes were from an order or if they are on the public market...

Right now the count of aircraft on the market is a total of those for sale and lease, both public and private transactions. There may be some value in having a way to separate that out into separate numbers but I worry about taking up too much screen space. Maybe just showing the total on the market and the number for sale to the public would be sufficient.
I've sworn an oath of solitude until the pestilence is purged from the lands.

How is that determined?Safari Air wrote:...when the DB admins decide to release a plane on the marketplace for you to buy
Right now there are 100 B463s and 120 E190s from FlyNET Aviation Inc on the traders list!
That is far more than anyone will ever buy, and just makes it more difficult to find the other types that are available.

Re: question about traders list...
All of those aircraft are ones that have been ordered by VAs for purchase (they're all "out of production" aircraft after all). They will eventually be pruned off the list if they are not purchased by the VA who ordered them.

Thanks for the reply.
Are there really orders for 120 E190s when there are only about 30 flying for the 900+ airlines here?

If there's 120 E190s, then that's aircraft that have been bought and then sold off for some reason as that airplane is still in production.
As for numbers - this isn't the real world.
