Kai Tak re-opens

Post by Stan » Wed Jan 09, 2008 4:20 am

Well,it does on flight simulator. The 9Dragon team has uploaded the scenery to Avsim, its a 5 part d/l but anyone who hankers after the old days will surely like this addon.I am on route at the moment and i haven,t seen the scenery yet but i just cant wait to get there, hope i get runway 13 via the checkerboard.I got runway31 but it is fantastic scenery, just like being there in real life,i landed, taxied in, and then parked my aircraft on the top of the carpark to watch the traffic coming and going. When night falls all the lights come on and i changed the weather so that they would land on runway 13,absolutely great.I have closed Chep le Kok now and transferred all my AI to Kai Tak.

I have used other scenery of Kai Tak before, but will try this one definitely.
What kind of PC is needed to have such splendid quolity and high framerates? :)

having flown in and out of HKG many years ago, I can vouch for the accuracy of the scenery
however I dont remember Stonecutters being out of the ordinary - personally the approach
to both Sion in witzerland and Innsbruch in Austria were much more hair raising
