I have both and they are both awful. I am looking forward to a serious release. I think I can count on PMDG

PMDG doesn't listen to it's customers mostly.
I'm boycotting them right now anyways, over their unfair pricing scheme.

Also strange that you call the overland awful, since they use the same models as CLS...

yep they beet me by a few minutes... currently i the longest haul ive used it for is a flight from kpit (pittsburgh, Pa - USA) to WIIH (Indonesia) it was a 8700+nm flight that took me over 1.3 hours real world to complete on 16X. Used it alot, and just leased my second one yesterday. I new so i had to wait a while to be able to post this message back when u first talked about it...

the model im using in nice... its doesnt have a a380 panel in it but 1 could be added. Its for FSX and is flying the the Spirit Of Australia-Qantas' Logo.

the pic is on the first flight i did with it to Indonesia. fly it all in daylight, flight went up and over the north pole...

It doesnt matter to me wat model im using... I HATE airbus anyways, AND THEY ALL ARE UGLY!!! Now im sure ur gonna ask me why then do i have two a380's??? because i cant find a 747-8 model to use and it not in here. but other than the 2 a380's my current fleet is ALL BOEING!

haha, i adore airbusses. They're european and parts of them are made here

PMDG won't make an A380 anyways looks like they are mainly tied to Boeing (with the odd exception)
Thanks

Another point for users of the Robert Verssluy Freeware version,if you would like microsoft ATC to refer to your aircraft as an Airbus A380 instead of "unspecified" you will have to add the following lines to the CFG.file under the [General] section.atc_type=AIRBUS
atc_model=A380.Hope this is of use to somebody.

Just been looking at the Overland one and it does not say if it is compatible with FSX.I,ve not got FSX yet but don,t see any point in buying new Aircraft if they are going to be useless when i eventually take the plunge.Everyone i know that has bought FSX as gone back to ACOF until computers improve enough to run it properly.

I published the spec sheet so everyone would know the limits of the A380 family of jets, and yes to point out that the range is not 8700 nm but only 8200 nm. I am in agreement with cmdrnmartin about the range being set some how (maybe limited fuel).

Many Thanks to everyone that got the program up and running again and the new web site runs great.

This is how I feel on FlyNet again! Happy Days are Here Again!!!
