Flightplan of private flights

Post by aviamoskva » Sun Dec 24, 2006 9:44 pm

I've just bought my first private aircraft, a nice yellow Cub. I have some questions:

1- What is aircraft ident? Is it the reg. number?
2- Two fields for total eet. What are they for?
3- Can I fly to airfields which are not available in FlyNET database yet?

If somebody write an example private flight flightplan, I'll be happy.

1) Aircraft IDENT is the same as Registration
2) EET is in hours (first field) and Minutes (second field).
3) No.

Buy ticket to private-flight airport?

Post by SJDobby » Fri Jun 15, 2007 1:48 pm

Hi

I have filed a flightplan in my newly-purchased PA28A private aircraft; the flight is a nice short hop from EGHH to EGHI. In FlyNet I am currently at Heathrow. In order to fly the planned route, do I need to buy a ticket to EGHH or can I fly the EGHH-EGHI route while still "officially" [as far as the virtual-airline operations are concerned] at Heathrow?

Hi,

You will have to buy a ticket to get to wherever your aircraft/flightplan is.
