Post by ben_davies247 » Sun Jan 01, 2006 5:10 pm

Im currently building a website for my VA and I was wondering if anyone who had visited the site and wanted to sighn up, how would they do that?
Do i have to register pilots?
Some instructions that i could put on the website would be useful.
Thanks

I agree with Geoff, dreamweaver is the best WYSIWYG-Editor I know, but for me it's still writing too much unnecessary code and therefore I prefer hardcoding my websites. My favourite editor is the "Composer", which is included in the Mozilla-Suite. But I wouldn't recommend it to people who are new in webdesign because you need some knowledge in HTML to be able to use it.

I don't have much experience with Dreamweaver but a great program that I highly recommend is PHP Designer 2005. First, it's free so no worries there. It is a great editor that has a simple text interface for editing HTML, PHP, Java, etc. It features syntax highlighting for different languages to assist you in coding as well. For my purposes, it is great as a PHP editor. After writing out my script, I can run a diagnostic to check and make sure my coding is in the correct format. I only use a few of the numerous features it has and it works fantastically. It will save you many a headache if you are coding with more complicated languages such as PHP.
