Codeshare question
How does flynet determine which routes can be code shared and which ones can not?
I've sworn an oath of solitude until the pestilence is purged from the lands.

Hi all
I didn't want to open a new topic to ask this question about codeshares.
OK. As Konny wrote :
* Does the airline got to have the same aircraft flying a codeshare route, or can they fly with their aircrafts?
(ie. KNR has a codeshare with TRK, LTBJ-LTAY with a DH8C a/c, but TRK has only Beech 1900. So will they be able to do the same flight in Beech 1900 or should they buy a DH8C?)
Cheers,
Arslan

Now the questionNow the difference to the FlyNET-way of codeshares is that I wanted do something for the pilots and not the passengers, obviously . Therefore a codeshare flight doesn't only give you a pax-bonus but also can be flown by both airlines. So if you have some longhaul-flights you can negotiate with the local carriers and see if you can get some codeshares. The last virtual airline I was member of simulated it that way and I found it pretty cool to be able do some jobs for a local carrier after having done a longhaul-flight. So I wanted to give you the change to do that, too.
