Fuel

Post by Miikoyan » Thu Feb 15, 2007 6:11 am

Hello to everyone,

Just a question,

Does the engines shut down when the fuel runs out, even when you have 'Unlimited Fuel' in the options page?

Thanks,
Mike Miikoyan,

I have never tried unlimited fuel option but, IMHO if it is UNLIMITED you are not likely get an empty fuel.

If the fuel runs out with the "Unlimited Fuel" selected, the engines keep running. That's one of the reasons we seriously frown upon flying with the unlimited fuel option. It also doesn't record a fuel burn in the sim.

Yep. Like many other things, why use software that charges you for using fuel and challenges you to make the most profit by using the least amount of fuel possible when you setup the program so that no matter how much fuel you buy or don't buy, you'll make the destination? :)
