Routes

FSX contains a number of interesting landmarks. For those interested in a little sight-seeing or maybe in testing radio navigation skills, a set of five linked flights has been created that includes the opportunity to fly over Niagra Falls. Your journey starts at Tulsa KTUL where RED has a range of aircraft on the ground. However the runway at St Catherines airport on the Canadian side of the falls is only 5000ft so choose your aircraft carefully!
Fly from KTUL to Cedar Rapids in Iowa (KCID - 395nm) then on to Thunder Bay in Ontario (CYQT - 405nm). CYQT to St Catherines CYSN on the Canadian border is the longest stretch at 529nm. Head east from CYSN climb to 3500ft anf follow the river to the South and the waterfalls. Turn east and still following the river land at Niagra Falls airport KIAD. Flying distance is only 11.1nm! The last leg of your flight is KIAG to KJFK 276nm.
(Info about over-flying Niagra Falls is courtesy of simtours.net)

Pilots may notice some changes and ordering of flight numbers in both the FSA Book Flight tab and in Fleet & Routes on the RED website. Background work is continuing to tidy up number sequence and to add in return flights where these are missing. This project will continue into the medium term. This advice is for general info only.
