I attempted to add this aircraft the other day, it was declined and i dont know why, they say its noy a recognised version of the 747-100, hing is, it is. 2 were delivered to JAL. I found this quote on A.net

"As far as I know JAL has the only 2 747-100B SR/SUD's built, the first of which flew on 26 February 1986. The aircraft configuation is 25 business and 538 ecenomy class seats used for the popular japanese domestic routes."

The 747-100B SR/SUD is simply the 747-100B SR (that was accepted) but with a streached upper deck (SUD), making more room for passengers.

I would liek to know why it wasnt accepted, i know only a few were made but there is only 1 An-225 and another on the way...

Neither Boeing nor the FAA had any information on a "Stretched Upper Deck" version of the 747-100B. The only ones that I found were for the 747-100B SR, of which approximately 30 were built. As such, we can't accept the aircraft because we don't have good data on the 2 built. Unless we can get an official source that gives the differences between the standard "SR" and the "SR/SUD", then I can't accept it into the database.

In addition, you had several format errors in your information and I had to make several edits to your submitted information to conform to the officially published data from Boeing just to be able to accept the 747-100B SR.

If it cant be added then fine...but here's one for you to look at, the SUD is a conversion, not factory built...

Also sorry avout the errors in the 100B SR, i did it on the available info i could find :?

As I said, the FAA and Boeing don't have information on the conversion. In addition, the SR/SUD was a "factory delivered" modification (Boeing's history on the airplanes say so), but they don't provide any information on any changes to the weights versus the standard SR.

As for available information, Boeing's Technical Documents (available on the Boeing Commercial Aircraft website under "Detailed Technical Specifications") are extremely good resources for things like weights and dimensions of their aircraft. It also has such information like door locations, seating arrangements, and even specific cargo volumes and turning radii.
