Laridia Airlines is open for recruiting !
This new fictional VA offers international, regional and local flights all around the globe. Our motto is "Free. Always. Everywhere". Freedom is a core value and we are committed to preserving the simple pleasure of flying our favourite aircraft along the most scenic routes, to the great satisfaction of our passengers ... and our pilots!
Our international hubs are Nice Côte d'Azur (LFMN), Queenstown (NZQN), Vancouver (CYVR), Papeete (NTAA) and very soon Hong-Kong (VHHH). Others will be opened later.
Laridia Airlines uses the FSHub web system and the LRM application as the chosen ACARS system to register flights. These are free tools, very light and simple to register and set up.
Laridia Airlines flies on IVAO and VATSIM and aims to be certified to be part of this great community.
Finally and obviously, Laridia Airlines is also present on FSAirlines.
The VA offers Participation Points (PP), valuing the pilot's involvement in the VA's reputation. The hours logged (not necessarily along the routes defined by the VA), the presence in the hubs, the connection to IVAO/VATSIM and/or FSAirlines, the participation in internal and external events, and the "achievements" allow to gain PP. It will be possible to spend these PP to open routes or hubs, or buy a specific type of airplane, or use it to weight in VA board decisions.
Laridia Airlines will be built with all its members. We are looking for mature pilots, who know how to be serious without taking themselves too seriously. The VA aims at freedom, immersion and realism, in this order: free flight is allowed, the choice of aircraft is wide within a category (L1T, L2T, L2J...) and every member is a force of proposal to add new routes, new achievements and new events.
