Package System Generation Refinements?
Just curious - Is there any way to reduce the huge amount of international packages at "podunk airports" and repurpse those resources to more local destinations? Example shown: Twin Falls, Idaho KTWF Who is going to come get these single 88's to fly across the globe? My guess is NOBODY. So wouldn't ...

Re: MS FS2020
Real aircraft manufacturers are notorious for "padding the numbers". A lot of time their speeds will be listed in mph instead of knots and they will always use true airspeed instead of indicated and most performance numbers are based on 10,000 feet. So when they say it will cruise at 185 KTAS, yes t...

Re: My 5 Cents
by joefremont » Tue Oct 27, 2020 7:06 pm One thing that interested me about the seat idea was not so much the cost of swapping out the seats, but the cost of the seats themselves. You could even have several types of seats, several types of economy/business/first from basic economy to luxury privat...

Aircraft Instant Transfers
Proposed Change: Airlines can have one (1) instant transfer of an aircraft after initial purchase. This would stop the package hoarders from instantly transferring large cargo aircraft to package cargo departure hotspots. Alternate Proposal: Make the instant transfer so cost prohibitive, operators w...

Re: My 5 Cents
A "Private Luxury Class" seat would be something that might be explored as biz jets don't make jack which is why we stopped flying them. We can make more with a Cessna Caravan or Quest Kodiak than we can with a Citation biz jet. We even sold our BBJ as once Joe took away the extra cargo capacity, it...

Re: Small ideas of mine
I'd like to add the permission to my hub owners mainly rather than everyone but at the same time I don't want these guys to be able to kick people. Oh yes I see your point where type rating admin permits are tied to other duties such as accepting new hires, kicking pilots, etc. The type rating by r...

Re: Small ideas of mine
I think the type rating by rank covers it all for us. With our full Career Path in place now, type ratings are given automatically as pilots progress through the ranks with the more high performance aircraft requiring "qualification" (training) flights on that type first before the pilot is given th...

Re: Paused flights
One thing that might at least give VA operators a fighting chance to control this issue is having the flight show 'PAUSED' in the status in the pilot signature. It's really impossible for us to tell if a flight is actually paused or if the pilot is taking "the scenic route", especially now the map f...
Re: 747-LCF
AND if you start opening up super specialized aircraft, the sport lite pilots will cry foul big time wanting to fly Icon's as a commercial aircraft.

Re: KSGU
Sometimes even the FSA database can be confusing, especially here at KSGU. If you use the database search function in the lower left margin - Database / airports, then type in the code you see this: https://i.imgur.com/QrMmYhx.jpg So one would "assume" that all formats are flying to the old location...

Re: KSGU
This airport is a rare case where the FAA simply transferred the same identifier to the new airport once it was completed. In our sims, especially older ones like FSX, the only airport at that location is the old one unless some add-on scenery has been installed that includes the new airport on the ...

Re: Cargo drop off en route to destination airport
The most simple way is to click the DIVERT tab in the client while enroute. Type in your desired airport location where you want to drop cargo off then land at your drop off point. The system will automatically build you a new route to complete your trip to your original destination. You do not have...

Type Rating by Rank does not show in Pilot Profile
Just curious why when I click on a pilot's profile, none of the type ratings they have by rank show in their profile under type ratings. Everything is NO. But the type ratings do show in the pilots' profile main page. Only when one goes to the "manage type ratings" in the pilot profile do I find eve...

Re: Privacy conserns
I have no problem with first name and initial.
would like to make sure tho that a pilot's FSA logbook remains "open to the public" so when a new pilot applies, we can do our due diligent research on that pilot's experience and past performance.
