Virgin G-VELD@ CYYT

I just came from St. John's Airport where A Virgin Atlantic had to make an emergency landing. They must have had an injured/sick passenger aboard as there was an ambulance awaiting on the ramp. Shortly after the aircraft took off to continue its journey to Washington dulles. The time I forgot to tak...

I think it maybe an an AFCAD issue? Are you using sceneries other than default...as well If I recall, The ILS at boston on the default is a little strange anyways. Look around AVSIM for a fix to the afcads is the only thing I can reckon.

Does the Aircraft "appear" to be riding the rails all the way down? If so, it could be an afcad issue.

That will work on ANY aircraft, you just need to fly it by hand

Use the 1000 feet beetween 11,000 and 10,000 as a buffer zone to get your speed down to around 240, you shouldn't have any problem then. Hope that helps.

I did a flight last night that was a codeshare, we are both operating the same aircraft on that route. The benefit is added passengers to the flight. I got a message before my flight yesterday that bonus passengers were added, that was the direct benefit of the codeshare. What I would like to know i...

database issues?

One of my pilots reported that he did a flight from CYYT-LFVP last night and the flight got completed (bong sound) He checked the report and the total expenses were 0$ as were the earnings. That flight didn't record on the database for some reason. In addition he did a flight from CYYT-CYAY after an...

I agree somewhat. Instead of who has the "biggest" which is fairly obvious. How about things like most money made per nm, highest seat to mile ratio, things like that that everyone can compete for. In my mind, I am trying to run my airline with efficiency in mind. Flying lots of miles and making a l...

try using the estimate feature before you place an add, and when making the advertisment, compress the jpg a bit more so its within the size limits. That way, you wont get burned! Hope that helps.

Aircraft placeholder

would it be possible to add an Aircraft placeholder to the database? Have it cost 0$ You could then lease this placeholder to receive payment for services. This would make it possible for airlines to offer services such as selling stocks, painting aircraft and whatever else people can think of to do...

I love the idea, then again, Im for any idea that emulated real world airline operations. Even if it would mean scaling my operation down to one plane :P. Everything from gate fee's to a fluctuating economy, fluctuating prices, plus a lot lot more. But yeah....flynets cool! (just wish i could get so...

I think it could be given a go. As for fuel, perhaps a database that keeps track of the average "block fuel" used, that way if it abnormally low a flag could be sent to admins. Just another idea.
