Have you tried turning off the flight tracker? This is the #1 cause of "unexplained" crashes in the client and should be the first thing tried if you experience any kind of unexplained crash. Stan's article is a great advise for beginners on Flynet, but Stan, you made one mistake under #3:

At 3000ft TURN OFF LANDING LIGHTS

If you do that, you will have a penalty of course. At or just above FL100 this should be done.
