Re: Changing Seat Configurations
So I need to either go to an airport with a maintenance center such as LIRF where my Connie is and the seat changing is available and my Beech is at Rockford, Illiniois, KRFD and has no maintenance center so I can't store them. So I need to move to an airport with a center or get a Platinum account...

Re: Aircraft Transfers
Sounds reasonable, would not be hard to do. I suppose pilots who do transfers are more maverick than line airline pilots, and those who do instant transfers even more so

Re: CLIENT NOT RUNNING since the las update
Try deleting the fsairlines.ini file in your Documents/FSAirlines folder, if your using FSUIPC7 make sure you have the latest version installed, and as Sam said, sometimes rebooting fixes things.

Technial stop Limitations
I was just working with a pilot who has a problem with the client where the app was crashing when it tried to load the flight from the server. Turns out the flight in question had nine technical stops defined and when the client tried to load all the airports related to the flight it was overflowing...

Re: Changing Seat Configurations
You can store the seats if you have some place at that airport to store them, I.e. a warehouse or office or maintenance center.

Re: Changing Seat Configurations
To simplify life on some of the smaller aircraft we defined them as 'folding seats' where the seat can't be removed but can be folded to allow more cargo on a flight without having to change the seating configuration. If you want to load more packages onto the AC then just load the packages on befor...

Re: Forum Registration FYI
I have reactivated the registrations, before it was not to bad to delete spam registrations, only six clicks each, which was ok when I was getting 3-4 a day, but at 40 was too much, but I found a page in the forum admin where I can delete a bunch at a time, so its not as much of a burden. I will tur...

New Admin
Hi Flyers, I am happy to announce that Matthew has volunteered to help out with the admin on the site. Matthew has been a member of FSAirlines since the beginning, he actually joined as a pilot before I did, back in the days it was still called 'FlyNET'. Thank you Matthew!

Re: Relinquishing Type Certificate
Hi Sam, My thinking on that was that pilots want to advance their careers by moving to bigger aircraft, if someone was flying 767's and now they are flying King Airs, they probably would not be happy, especially if they lost there certificate as a result. I understand that sometimes pilots might cho...

Re: In Flight Failures
Ok, here is an idea. If any of the following events happening on a flight, the aircraft will enter a "needs maintenance" status and require some type of service before it can be moved (i.e. flown or transferred) "Crashed" "Engine Failure" "Gear Failure" "Flaps Failure" "Very Hard Landing" "Serious G...

Re: In Flight Failures
With all the recent issues with birds, maybe throw in a totally random (nothing to do with maintenance status) "bird strike engine failure".... LOL that will wake up a sleepy pilot in the sim. Might be cool, but given how many of our pilots leave the cockpit unattended on long flights, (note the au...

In Flight Failures
Hi Flyers. As I continue to think through all the things that will need to be updated to get automated pilots working, it does at times cause me to rethink some of the features we have in the platform, and one of those I have been thinking about is in flight failures. Currently, based on your aircra...

Re: Beta Client 2.6
Stable build is now released.
Changes from b7:
- I extended the auto submit time from 5 minutes to 15 minutes
- If your flight recorded a crash it should not also record a hard landing.
