Re: Benefits depending sim rate

I believe that with the current system of benefits it is not equalized when it he flies away to 1x or to 16x, since in both flights the multiplier is the same. A person who flies to 16x can realize more flights in the same time that different to 1x and this way it he will gain more rapid money. I a...

Re: icao conflicts

Yes I understand.
But do you have ....,B737 B737 B737,41 23 377,..... in the flight plan, or just ....,B737,41,....?
Plus of course type approval for them all?

Re: icao conflicts

I don't think it is a fault with ICAO codes, after all they are the same for the a/c you mention.
But you have to enter the correct FlyNET code into the flight plan for all of the a/c you want to fly on that route.

For example: the 700ER is id 41, but the 7ET is 23.

Hope this helps.

Re: Fuel changes before takeoff? Please? 8-)

I think FS only refuels an aircraft if you park on a refueling square. These are normally located on GA parking but can be at a gate. (You can see where they are with AFCAD2, or just look for the petrol pumps in the sim.) If you are automatically refueled you can move to a different stand, set the f...

Re: Idle curiousity

I wasn't suggesting compulsory registration. But if anyone could suggest a way of increasing the forum participation I think it would be for the good of the whole FlyNET community. Maybe a note on the homepage saying "Why not check out our informative and friendly forum?", or some such. Or an incent...

Re: Idle curiousity

Well in particular there seems little point in all those "xxx is recruiting now" posts.
Anyone reading will be a well established pilot, or more likely a CEO with his own airline already.

Idle curiousity

If there are 946/4672 active VAs/members on FlyNET (and rising fast), how come there are only 342 registered forum members?
That seems to be a very low community participation quotient, don't you think?

Re: Cargo Question - again

Maybe it has to do with the amount of fuel carried. Your flight seems to be outside the legal IFR-reserve operating range of even the 90-30ER (2100nm source MD) so presumably you had some fuel in the cargo area? The other flights you link to are shorter and therefore maybe not maxed out on fuel. Jus...

Re: question about traders list...

Thanks for the reply.
Are there really orders for 120 E190s when there are only about 30 flying for the 900+ airlines here?

Re: question about traders list...

...when the DB admins decide to release a plane on the marketplace for you to buy How is that determined? Right now there are 100 B463s and 120 E190s from FlyNET Aviation Inc on the traders list! That is far more than anyone will ever buy, and just makes it more difficult to find the other types th...

find a va that does fly the aircraft and look at their flight logs to give you an idea how much fuel you will need for a given distance. Good advice, but be aware that some of the VAs here seem to burn less fuel than you might think was needed for a rotation. It is not too difficult though, ...

OK.

It looks like no one has received any income from flights since 03rd March.
I guess that feature is not implemented on the Alpha (1.3a) version of FSA.

Incidently, the client also shows "Take off" status for the whole flight duration, like some other users have reported.

2 Questions

Hi. I created a new airline (KBV) to have a look at the FSA client. questions therein: 1) I made two profit-making flights with a leased a/c. My pilot received a salary credit, and the profit shows on the flight stats, but the airline shows no income or change in rep. Are credits supposed to show up...
