Re: Cargo beta testing
You are most welcome Sir! I can not thank you enough for saving FSA from the trash bin - which is where it was headed with no support available when you stepped in and took over command. Hey curious question: I understand the normal 2 week paydown thing for not making on time deliveries now. But wh...

Beta Testing: Restore Flight
How many times have you been getting ready to land and suddenly your sim crashes and you have to restart the flight from the beginning. Well I finally may have come up with a solution. Its not as perfect a solution as I would have liked, while I figured out how to have the client save the flight, I ...

Re: Cargo System/Packages
Is there any way to limit Cargo/Package operations to 1x flight time operations? Seems a bit unfair for guys to go scooping up large amounts of package cargo in big freighters then flying them 16x speed while more realistic operators slug along at normal flight times. If it' sounds like whining, th...

Re: Automated Pilots
At the risk of popping your 'happy balloon' on this idea, you would have to keep the autobot pilots out of the new cargo system or they will milk it dry leaving us hard working humans looking for work. This is true, the automatons would not be allowed to handle packages, and there flights w...

Re: Automated Pilots
This is a really interesting idea!!! In case this idea continue... those pilot could fly all the airplanes of the fleet? Or only a specific fleet? Personally I like this idea I had not though about fleets, I assumed they would not need type ratings but if they were assigned 'ranks', ranks can restr...

Automated Pilots
A problem many of our VA's face is not enough pilots to fly all there aircraft, so I had an idea that I though I would share and see if there is any interest. The idea is basically that airlines would be able to hire automated pilots that could fly aircraft for them without having to have an actual ...

Re: 2 questions for my VA
We don't anything that formally defines a 'HUB'. For a fleet you can define a main base, and at that base you get a discount on parking but beyond that it does not give any special advantages. A hub is just an airport where many of your routes meet and where you often park your aircraft. To Assign a...

Re: Cargo beta testing
Ah, the "(100,000kgs max)" is the maximum package size, not warehouse capacity, that should probably be more clear.

Re: Cargo beta testing
All the thanks belong to you Joe,there is a lot of work gone into this Cargo Program and i am really enjoying it. Just one thing to report and that is the capacity of the Large Warehouses appears to be 1,000,000kgs instead of 100,000kgs. Yours Stan Its supposed to be 1,000,000, are you seeing 100,0...

Re: Cargo beta testing
Sam, Sabahassani, Stan and Harvester, I can not thank you enough for the help you have given me on testing this cargo system. I am sure we are not done, no software product is ever really done, but the help you have provided has really made big difference in making the launch of this fairly complex ...

Re: Cargo beta testing
A user reported a bug where they transferred an aircraft that had packages on it and when trying to release them got errors, this is something I did not think about. How do we handle aircraft transfers when there are packages on board. If the packages have not moved we should probably just release t...

Re: Cargo beta testing
Hi again :D there is something that kind of problematic in a way that it take a lot of time in loading process, select all feature does not include maximum packages allowed it just selects them all and we have to manually reduce the numbers one by one. it get problematic in situation like our lates...
