Re: Seat configuration

convertible jets like the 737-700C usually have seat "blocks" mounted on pallets (that lock into the freight pallet system) which is how they can pull them so quickly vs one seat section at a time. So having those seats being able to be changed "instantly" is a good idea. Overall I think it is an ex...

Re: Boeing Business Jet Ticket Facotor

I think you said it best earlier in this post. You don't own a 737BBJ to make big money. Big time bling and status symbol.

Re: Boeing Business Jet Ticket Facotor

I don't see any need to rush a project like seats ... I was just pointing out to the guys who are complaining about not making money with the BBJ that there is a bit of a workaround if money is all they care about. LOL And for non-convertible aircraft, I could envision a fee for seat changing that w...

Re: Boeing Business Jet Ticket Facotor

Another "unfixable loophole" in the FSA system is to use a 737-700C and set it up for all biz/first only. Unlike the BBJ, you will get a belly full of cargo to go with your exec passengers and even if you use generic only cargo, this is a big boost in income vs buying and flying a "true" BBJ which h...

Website Update? Right Margin Now HUGE

Was there an update to the website today?

The right margin is now 3x wider than it was - browser doesn't matter, same with chrome or edge

Re: Book flight page redesign

In all open honesty, we rarely use our flight routes to book flights. We just type in the destination in Charter Flights and go. But then we are a small carrier now doing more charter work like NFL team charters and such. The whole route system thing is just so complicated to design then book, blah ...

Random Thoughts

wouldn't be any ... just another way for VA to spend some of their billions LOL

OR give em free parking and they can only have ONE HQ/Pilot Training Center. For larger VA's with lots of jets at their HQ hub, that would be an incentive.

Re: Random Thoughts

AND YET MORE RANDOM THOUGHTS:  New "Airport Center" to build: Company HQ & Pilot Training Center. $1 million to build and $25,000 a month to maintain. Part of the "cost of doing business" for larger airlines. ha ha ha How many VA's would build one? I'm guessing other than us, ZERO Prolly not ...

Re: FSA Rating

Thanks! Yup the Chief Pilot is the King/Queen of the hub who deals with all the pilot recurrent training as well as performs the test flights to certify an airplane after maintenance has been done (such as an engine change). In some case the Chief Pilot also flies line routes as they choose. When an...

Re: FSA Rating

A little late into the discussion but I would personally prefer "Chief Pilot" over Commander which is usually used in military situations. AKA, my top 3 would be Chief Pilot, Commercial Chief Pilot, Senior Chief Pilot. LOL I see my title now and all I can think of is Tim Allen "The Commander" in the...

Re: Landed at KEWR but it says wrong airport.

Flag the flight for Administrative Review and reference your post here as well as reason for wanting a review in the remarks section. Yeah that heliport is another XP11 problem. In XP11, the lat/long puts that heliport right across the freeway from KEWR but in reality no such place exists - at least...

Re: Random Thoughts

Thanks for the response Joe, as I said in my topic post, these are just Random Thoughts. Another one I had was how to protect airlines who establish routes to build packages only to lose them to charter flight "cherry pickers". The Charter Flight system is a really good tool, I myself use it more th...

MORE RANDOM THOUGHTS: Charter Flights unable to access packages at all. Generic cargo only. Airport Physical Presence: Office only - 50% off parking at that location Any Warehouse: 60% off parking Small/Med Service Center: 70% off parking Large Service Center: 80% off parking Extra Large Service Cen...

Re: Cargo Airport Complaint

I have posted my own thoughts on the package system in New Ideas .... I think we have WAY too many routes that are never being flown thus fooling the package generator into thinking there is a demand in places that are not being flown into. Just my opinion of course. How many airlines actually servi...

Random Thoughts

1) Parking discounts for hubs should only be given if the hub in question has a physical presence: office, warehouse or service center. Currently there is no incentive to build anything at an airline's hub. 2) Package Cargo: Should scheduled routes be required to access packages? We are also guilty ...
