New client: fuel
I had the opposite problem, getting more fuel than I asked for - I elected the standard method, went for 20,000kg but my LDS767 actually received 55,000kg (it is possble that that was the amount already in my tanks when I loaded the aircraft so maybe the client didn't actually put that fuel there). ...

Long routes
Routes of 12 hours are perfectly feasible, even in real time. Don't forget that once you are in the climb [and not flying with online ATC e.g. Vatsim] your involvement is pretty minor until shortly before the descent - you need to do a couple of step climbs and once in a while check that you haven't...

Latest update - autoupdate/manual
You are not alone... I am sat at Toronto with a planeload of passengers (already on their second free drink  ) . I've not used autoupdate before so don't know exactly how it works (though I have noticed a "prefetch file" appear for FlyNet in my Windows\prefetch folder, so maybe a reboot is need...

Incorrect code when uploading pirep
I flew a flight from EGHH to ENZV this evening, and my internet connection died resulting in the client not being able to automatically upload the pirep. It told me to use code "5db" (I carefully checked it twice). I found the file, did the upload but was told that the code was wrong. I'll probably ...

Aloowances for the 250kt Rule
Not sure which SST you are flying, but in my limited experience (with the SSTSim aircraft, not the PSS one) even at max takeoff weight I think you are still looking at sub-250kt V2+10kt speeds. I haven't flown the SST for quite a while now but I don't recall ever needing more than 250kts in the init...

Exports of Flightplans (schedules)
Copying and pasting the current page is all well and good, but there is a load of formatting that needs to be removed that takes quite a while to do (I don't own any fancy web-editing tools so good old Notepad gets the job!). It literally needs to be the existing flightplan page without all the Flyn...

Export of Flightplans including routes
I am part of UKDirect, a VA that exists both inside and outside of FlyNet, and we are to an extent using FlyNet as our basis for timetable re-scheduling. Many of our pilots are not currently FlyNet pilots (and I suspect that will be the case for a long time to come), but I act as the flight-assignme...

Cheat Attempt Recognised x 2
I've twice (last night and this morning) tried to fly from Stansted (EGSS) to Humberside (EGNJ) on UKDirect flight UKD2052 using a PSS Dash8-Q300 and real weather (downloaded last night). The first time it happened I had just landed at Humberside  , my internet connection was stable (and remain...

Advertising
I've only been "FlyNetting" for a week or two and am completely hooked, so well done to Konny etc for a good job well done so far. 8) With regard to getting more v-pilots interested, the difficulty is where to advertise. On the one hand, adverts on Flynet's website is fine, but how many v-pilots wil...
